My love affair with the Florida Keys began some eight years ago and since then I’ve been back almost every year. Why? Because of one thing – great fishing! You can spend a whole holiday fishing for Tarpon, you’ve got fantastic Bonefish and Permit fishing on the flats and awesome shark fishing in shallow water. Add to this the superb and varied fishing available in the Backcountry and Offshore and you begin to see why the Keys are called the ‘Sportfishing Capital of the World’. There are many angling destinations around the globe but there’s something special about the Florida Keys, with its palm trees, white sand beaches and friendly fishing-mad locals, that makes me want to keep going back for more.

On my last holiday with Fishing in Florida, I nailed six tarpon to over 150lb on light tackle! The results speak for themselves!
